New Pool Laws Passed In Queensland


Tough new laws making pool safety inspections and certificates mandatory have been passed by Queensland's parliament.
Planning Minister Stirling Hinchliffe said the final stage of new legislation would make the state's pools the safest in the country.
The laws extend state pool laws to indoor pools and pools at hotels, motels, caretaker dwellings, caravan parks and other residential buildings.

Commonwealth Bank iPhone App Is A Must Have For Property Buyers

The Commonwealth Bank's Property Guide iPhone application provides recent sale and for sale information on over 95% of properties in Australia.

If you are out looking at property it is a must have. Open the app, do a local search and up pops a map of all property sales in the area, most with a small description of the property and a guide sale price. If you are looking at buying a unit in a block it can bring up the other sale prices in a snap. If you see a house you like you can check when it last sold and for how much.

I tried it out in my street and in no time a list of properties was available.
